Shelf360 and Retail360 · Updated 30 October 2026
FBR-integrated POS for marts and retailers.
Shelf360 and Retail360 integrate with FBR. Each sale is reported as it is rung up, and the receipt carries FBR’s invoice number and QR code. Here is who needs it, how customers check a receipt, and how we get you live.
Who needs it
Tier-1 retailers report every sale to FBR.
Under FBR’s sales tax rules, retailers classed as Tier-1 must connect their point of sale to FBR, so that each sale is reported in real time. Tier-1 is commonly described as including:
- Retailers in air-conditioned shopping malls and plazas
- Shops that are part of a national or international chain
- Larger stores above a set floor area
- Retailers that accept debit or credit cards
- Retailers whose electricity bills over the last year passed a set amount
The exact thresholds are set by law and FBR notifications, and they have changed over time. Check your status with your tax adviser or FBR before relying on this list.
| Store | Name, address and tax registration |
|---|---|
| Items | Each product, price and sales tax |
| FBR invoice number | Returned by FBR for this sale |
| FBR QR code | |
| Check it | Tax Asaan app, or SMS to 9966 |
How it works at the counter
It takes no extra steps from your cashier.
Ring up
The cashier scans and sells as normal in Shelf360 or Retail360.
Report
The sale is sent to FBR as it is rung up, and FBR returns a unique invoice number.
The receipt prints with FBR’s invoice number and QR code, ready for the customer to check.
Checking a receipt
Your customers can verify it in seconds.
Anyone holding the receipt can check that the sale reached FBR in two ways:
- Scan the QR code with FBR’s Tax Asaan app
- Send the FBR invoice number by SMS to 9966
We use the same checks when we test your set-up before you go live.
Real-time FBR reporting, built in
Each receipt is reported to FBR as it is rung up, with FBR’s invoice number and QR code printed on it. Offline receipts queue and send themselves when the connection returns.
Tax handled per line
Standard-rate, Third Schedule and exempt goods are handled per line, and the tax report exports FBR’s Annexure-C layout.
FBR integration for retail shops
Clothing, electronics and general retail: each sale reported to FBR, with the invoice number and QR code on the receipt.
How we get you live
Our Lahore team does the set-up with you.
Check
We confirm your NTN and sales tax registration, your branches and counters, and that your receipt printers can print the QR code.
Register
Each counter that issues receipts is registered with FBR. We guide you, or your accountant, through it.
Set up
Your products are imported from a spreadsheet, with prices, barcodes and the tax treatment of each item.
Test
We print test receipts and check them with the Tax Asaan app or SMS 9966.
Train
Cashiers and managers are trained on the till and the reports they will use.
Go live
Our team is beside you on day one, with support from Lahore afterwards.
Before we start
What to have ready
- Your NTN and sales tax registration
- Access to your FBR online account, or the accountant who manages it
- A list of branches and the counters at each one
- Your products with barcodes, prices and tax treatment (a spreadsheet is fine)
- Receipt printers and an internet connection at each counter. We can check what you have or quote for new equipment.
Keeping it running
Stay online, stay reported.
Real-time reporting depends on a working connection. Our business internet backup adds a second line and automatic 4G failover, and power backup keeps the till and network up through a power cut.

FBR POS: questions owners ask
Do Shelf360 and Retail360 integrate with FBR?
Yes. Both report each sale to FBR in real time and print FBR’s invoice number and QR code on the receipt.
How does a customer check an FBR receipt?
By scanning the QR code with FBR’s Tax Asaan app, or by sending the FBR invoice number by SMS to 9966.
Am I a Tier-1 retailer?
It depends on where and how you trade, for example whether you are in an air-conditioned mall, part of a chain, accept cards or pass a set electricity bill. The thresholds are set by law and have changed over time, so check with your tax adviser or FBR.
What happens if the internet drops?
Shelf360 queues offline receipts and sends them by itself when the connection returns. For Retail360, ask us to show you how it works on your set-up. A second internet line with 4G failover reduces outages in the first place.
We have more than one branch. Is that a problem?
No. Stock is kept per branch, and each counter that issues receipts is set up and tested before it goes live.
Do you cover other provinces or authorities?
This page covers FBR. Restaurants in Punjab report to PRA through Plateform360. For anything else, ask us about your province and type of business before you buy.
What does it cost?
A one-time set-up fee and a monthly subscription per branch, both fixed in a written proposal. The FBR integration is priced separately in the same proposal. Hardware is quoted separately, or you can use suitable equipment you already have. See pricing for how a quote works.
