Who we are

The law we follow

Pakistan does not yet have an enacted comprehensive data protection law. The Personal Data Protection Bill is still pending. Until it is enacted, we follow recognised good practice: we collect only what we need, use it for the reason we gave, keep it secure and delete it when we no longer need it. We will comply with the new law when it is enacted. We also follow the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016, which protects information systems and data against unauthorised access.

What we collect

When you contact us, book a demo or ask for pricing: your name, work email, phone number if you give it, business name and type, number of branches and your message.

When you use this website: basic technical information your browser sends, such as device type and pages viewed. We do not use advertising trackers. If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure page visits; see our cookie policy.

How we use it

• To reply to you and arrange demos, proposals and support.
• To provide the products and services you buy from us.
• To keep our website and systems secure.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business, under contract: Web3Forms, which delivers website form messages to our team; Zoho Mail, our email provider; and our website host. We also share it where the law requires it.

Data inside ITEA products and custom software

When your business uses Plateform360, Shelf360, Retail360 or software we build or run for you, your business controls the data you put in it. ITEA Pakistan Pvt Limited is the service provider: we process that data on your behalf, only to provide the service, as set out in your agreement with us.

How long we keep it

Enquiries for up to two years after our last contact, and customer records for as long as you are a customer plus the period the law requires.

International transfers

Some of our service providers (Web3Forms, which runs on Amazon Web Services, and Zoho Mail), and our sister company ITEA Limited, may process information outside Pakistan. We only share what is needed and require them to protect it.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent, by emailing us. We will reply within 30 days.

Visitors in the UK and the EU

This website is aimed at businesses in Pakistan. Where we offer our services to people in the UK or the EU, or monitor how they use this site, the UK GDPR (or the EU GDPR) applies to that information. Our legal bases are your consent (for analytics), steps you ask us to take before a contract and the contract itself (for demos, proposals and services), and our legitimate interest in running and securing our business. You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of your information, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) in the UK or your local data protection authority in the EU, but please contact us first so we can try to help.

Security

We protect information with access controls and encryption in transit. We will tell you promptly if a breach is likely to affect you.

Changes

We will post any changes here with a new date.
